Canon has just announced the EOS Rebel T7, a beginner-and-budget-friendly DSLR. Designed to replace the existing T6, the Rebel T7 comes with an updated 24MP sensor, but appears to leave out the Dual Pixel AF we've become accustomed to seeing on Canon's APS-C models. The T7 carries over all other aspects of its predecessor's performance, including a Digic 4+ processor with 3 fps burst shooting, a 9-point conventional autofocus system and the same overall control scheme and build.
The EOS Rebel T7 will be available in the US in April 2018 with an EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS II lens for an MSRP of $549.99.
